Technology & Innovation

The Forge

Where volcanic rock becomes ocean-going vessels. Three pillars of technology defining the next generation of marine craft.

Pillar One

Basalt Composites

From volcanic rock to ocean-going vessels. Basalt fiber composites represent a quantum leap in marine materials science — stiffer and stronger than glass fiber, with additional impact resistance, at a fraction of the cost of carbon fiber.

Unlike glass fiber production which releases toxic acids and CO₂, basalt fiber manufacturing produces zero harmful emissions while consuming significantly less energy and water. The result: vessels that are lighter, stronger, more durable, and genuinely sustainable.

Compatible with polyester, epoxy, and vinyl ester resins. Can be combined with glass and carbon fibers for hybrid laminate designs optimized for specific structural requirements.

200%+ Stronger

Over 200% better mechanical parameters than traditional polyester-glass laminates.

Hydrophobic

Naturally water-repellent basalt fiber resists osmotic blistering and moisture absorption.

Corrosion Proof

Immune to saltwater corrosion — no gelcoat barrier required in many applications.

Thermal Stability

Heat resistant, fireproof, and UV stable. Maintains structural integrity in extreme conditions.

100% Recyclable

Zero toxic emissions in production. Fully recyclable end-of-life. Carbon-negative manufacturing.

Volcanic Origin

Derived from naturally occurring volcanic basalt rock — one of the earth's most abundant resources.

Pillar Two

Hybrid-Electric Propulsion

Clean harbor operation, extended range, and reduced operating costs. Our vessels are designed from the keel up for hybrid-electric integration — combining proven diesel reliability for long-range passages with electric-only operation in sensitive marine environments.

Solar integration and regenerative systems further extend electric-only range, while advanced battery management systems ensure safe, efficient energy distribution throughout the vessel.

Pillar Three

Intelligent Infrastructure

Through our iLamp partnership, we’re integrating smart infrastructure across our marina and development properties — turning cost centers into revenue generators.

Revenue-Generating Infrastructure

Smart streetlights that power Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, EV charging, and data processing. Real estate in a pole — profit centers instead of cost centers.

Marina-Wide Connectivity

Comprehensive sensor networks, ANPR, environmental monitoring, and an App Store ecosystem for third-party innovation across every dock and slip.

Scalable Platform

Licensed across 7 US states and multiple international territories. Estimated 25,000 marinas worldwide represent the addressable market for marine deployment.

Exploratory Energy R&D

Global Oceanic Holdings maintains a ring-fenced research initiative evaluating next-generation power systems, including catalyzed fusion concepts in partnership with Peace Engineers. This work is strictly pre-commercial and exploratory.

No investment returns are projected from this initiative. It is funded separately and does not affect core operating projections. Further information is available under NDA through the Data Room.
